He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal and has been recognized by his peers as one of the top five most influential surgeons in the world. He is an internationally renowned plastic surgeon and has been featured in an ABC 20/20 special program for his innovative surgical technique. He has been practicing plastic surgery for over two decades and made many contributions to his specialty. He is known for his ability to solve difficult clinical problems with innovative techniques in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeries. Dr. Pu received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Peking University Health Science Center, followed by a Master of Science in Surgery from Capital Medical University. He earned his PhD in Experimental Surgery from McGill University in Canada.
